Who We Are

The Building Industry Association of Southern California, Inc. (BIASC) is the voice of Southern California’s building industry. With four Chapters offering local services to building professionals from Ventura to the southern tip of Orange County, our reach and our positive impact on Southern California’s new construction market is unparalleled. We encourage you to join the Southern California building industry and trade organization, which has been around for more than 90 years, to connect with 170 Builder/Developer and 900 Associate members and to be part of the Association that keeps construction moving.

BIASC serves its builder and associate members by anticipating, protecting and promoting their common interests throughout our region.  Our mission is to ensure the ability of our members to effectively plan for, and meet, the building and construction needs of Southern California.

BIASC is a cohesive nonprofit trade association organized into chapters and councils, and having a regional presence through its regional office. We are comprised of builders, developers, contractors, subcontractors and associated professionals in residential and general construction throughout Southern California and others wishing to join in the Association.

We are a full service organization providing legislative, educational, labor relations, and community relations programs through our chapters and councils and through the regional office directly. The association objective is to promote a positive business environment for the building industry. BIASC serves its members first and foremost, followed in order by its Chapters and Councils. BIASC serves its Chapters by protecting and promoting regional common interests to ensure the success of its members in the building industry as they provide homes for all.
